Mr. Major Harris, Jr. was born on July 22, 1955 in Big Springs, Texas to Major Harris, Sr. and Oweda Williams of Bryan, Texas. He attended school in Floydada and Plainview, Texas. Major served in the Armed Forces for two years. He enjoyed fishing, driving trucks, watching westerns, home repair shows, and playing dominos with his wife.
