Darnell Scott

Bro Darnell was born in Mexia, Texas to Charlotte Scott. He was the fourth of five brothers. He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte and his brother, Kerry.  He was separated from his brothers Lee Scott, Robert Scott, and Elliot at an early age. He was raised by his grandmother, Littie White in Dawson, Texas where he attended Elementary School and graduated from Dawson High School in 1974. Darnell moved to Hereford, Texas in 1984 to 1992 and worked for Hereford ISD.  He lived in Amarillo, Texas from 1992 until his death of 2019. 
 He will be truly missed by his cousins, Brenda White of Arlington, Texas, Easter W. Wright of Phoenix, Arizona, Mamie Henry of Denver, Colorado, David Mays of Hereford, Texas and by his church members, Pastor Earl Ray Wright, Sister Senetta Jones and others.
